The workflow

Five steps. Median 4h 12m on standard briefs. Every asset delivered with commercial usage included.

No shoot fees, no licensing traps, no retouching upcharges. The same flat $9-per-asset price you see on the homepage.

    Submit the brief

Paste a SKU, a Shopify product link, or a one-paragraph prompt. Reference shots are optional. Median time-to-submit across 12,400 orders in 2024: 3 minutes 41 seconds.

We route to AI or a photographer

Every brief lands in our routing queue and ships to whichever pipeline produces the better result — our in-house retouching and background-generation pipeline, or one of 1,140 vetted photographers in 47 countries. Not auto-routed. Scored on past performance per category.

    Curated options returned

You don't get a contact sheet of forty near-identical shots. You get 3 to 5 distinct directions — different crops, angles, and lighting setups — each tagged with the use case it fits (PDP hero, paid social square, email banner).

AI vs. photographer

Every brief is routed to whichever pipeline produces the better result — generative AI or a vetted human shooter.

We don't ship every brief to a bot, and we don't ship every brief to a studio. Each brief is scored against category-specific quality benchmarks and sent to the pipeline that wins on past performance — our in-house generative pipeline for background extension and retouching, or a vetted photographer from our network.

If a photographer shoots it, our retouching pipeline still cleans background edges and prepares the final asset. If the generative pipeline renders it, a human reviews for color accuracy before you see it. The decision is not arbitrary, and it is not "AI-powered" as a label — it's a measured routing rule with humans in the loop on every delivery.

  • 1,140 contracted photographers across 47 countries.
  • 87 full-time employees on the GetPhoto team, Q2 2025.
  • In-house pipeline used for retouching, background generation, and brief routing — not as a generic label.

Answer first

Approved images sync into your live campaigns. No exports, no reformatting, no re-uploads.

Once you approve an asset in the dashboard, it pushes to the platforms your growth team is already running on. Files are delivered in the correct aspect ratio for each destination — 1:1 for PDP, 9:16 for paid social, 4:5 for Meta feed — so your team doesn't open Photoshop.

  • Shopify Approved images attach to the matching SKU and publish to the storefront on the next sync.
  • Amazon Seller Central Main-image compliant crops upload directly to the listing — no manual re-export.
  • Klaviyo Pushes to the Klaviyo asset library and tags by campaign for direct use in flow and broadcast emails.
  • Meta Ads Manager Approved assets sync into ad accounts in feed, story, and reel aspect ratios ready for launch.

Listed above are direct integrations. GetPhoto does not claim platform-level partnerships with Apple, Google, Meta, Amazon, or Shopify — integrations are correct, partnerships are not.

Before you send your first brief

The questions growth managers actually ask before placing a first order.

Q01What is the revision policy if I don't love the options?

Unlimited revisions on every brief, plus a 100% reshoot guarantee delivered within 24 hours. If none of the curated directions fit, leave a comment and we'll generate a new set. 94% of surveyed customers cited this policy as the reason they switched from a previous vendor.

Q02How long does a custom shoot actually take?

Standard briefs — the brief form, references, and standard SKU — have a median delivery time of 4 hours 12 minutes across 12,400 orders in 2024. Custom shoots that require a briefed photographer to source props or location run longer, with a median of 19 hours. We do not promise instant delivery on custom shoots; we publish the median and let you plan against it.

Q03What usage rights come with each image?

Full commercial usage is included in the flat $9-per-asset price. Use the images across PDPs, paid social, email, print, and partner placements. There are no per-channel licensing fees and no separate renewal. Retouching is included; usage is global.

Q04What file formats and aspect ratios do I receive?

You receive a master high-resolution TIFF plus web-optimized JPEGs in the aspect ratios relevant to your integration set — typically 1:1, 4:5, 9:16, and 16:9. Files sync into Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Klaviyo, and Meta Ads Manager in the correct format for each destination, so your team doesn't re-export.

Q05How does the subscription work, and can I cancel?

Subscriptions are flat-rate monthly allotments at $9 per asset, with rollover credits for up to two months. You can pause or cancel at any time from the dashboard — no annual commitment, no sales call to leave. The first photo is free whether or not you subscribe.
